Dr. P. Mester

My name is Dr. Peter Mester. I'm a virologist specialised in internal medicine.

Throughout my career as a doctor, I have become interested in global problems such as malnutrition, immune system impairment, and HIV/AIDS. In my pursuit to gain knowledge in this area, I have taken courses at the University of Washington Center for AIDS and STD, and the European AIDS Society.

I strongly believe in the combination of a healthy lifestyle, appropriate nutrition and regular exercise as a way to prevent serious medical conditions. Outside of work I enjoy a range of active hobbies, such as high-intensity training, running, swimming, cycling and I participate in triathlon competitions. If you encourage their patients to live a healthier, you've got to practise what you preach.
