Natural methods for delaying ejaculation

  1. Distract yourself:
    You can delay your orgasm by thinking about something else when you are on the brink of climaxing. Take a deep breath and focus on something that is not ‘sexy’.
  2. Take a break:
    Withdraw your penis as soon as you feel the urge to ejaculate. Take a few deep breaths and wait until your arousal subsides. Then go back to lovemaking.
  3. Squeeze the penis:
    Do this in the area between the shaft and the glans for about 10 to 20 seconds just before you are about to ejaculate. Note: this technique should not hurt. Repeat this process as many times as necessary to delay ejaculation.
  4. Masturbate (more often):

  • Griffonia seed extract:
    Seeds from the woody climbing shrub of this plant are used as a source of 5-HTP, which raises levels of serotonin in the brain.
  • Tryptophan/Vitamin B3:
    The body is able to make vitamin B3 out of tryptophan, with vitamin B3 helping the body to convert food into fuel and also having positive effects on mood. Dietary sources of vitamin B3 include milk, peas, bananas and chocolate. Tryptophan and vitamin B3 are also necessary for the production of serotonin.
  • Priligy:
    This medicine contains the active ingredient dapoxetine which helps combat premature ejaculation by preventing the reuptake of serotonin in the brain cells and significantly delaying approaching ejaculation.
  • Emla cream:
    This contains a local anaesthetic and can be used to temporarily numb the surface of the glans, which will help to delay ejaculation.
