What is Divisun?

Divisun 800 contains vitamin D3, a substance that is important for the absorption of calcium from the diet and for the strength of bones. Divisun 800 is available on prescription and can be ordered online from the pharmacies that work with Dokteronline.com.

How is Divisun used?

Doctors prescribe Divisun vitamin D3 to prevent or treat osteoporosis (bone loss). Vitamin D3 controls, among other things, the uptake and incorporation of calcium into bone tissue. The body can create vitamin D itself under the influence of sunlight, and a small amount is found in certain foods.

People who rarely go outside can develop a deficiency of vitamin D. As a result, the body is not able to absorb enough calcium and the bones become brittle – a process called osteoporosis. People with osteoporosis have a greater risk of fractures and the collapse of the vertebrae. The latter is accompanied by symptoms such as back pain, muscle pain, changes in posture and a reduction in height. Osteoporosis occurs more often in older people, since bones become weaker with age. Elderly people who have mobility issues are also less likely to be outside in the sunlight. Divisun ensures that there is sufficient vitamin D for the bones to absorb calcium and improve bone density.
