Scholl's Fungal Nail Treatment Kit is available without a prescription.
What is this product used for?
Fungal nails are a very common problem. The condition, also known as onychomycosis, is characterised by the nail's layers becoming brittle and discoloured, ranging from light yellow to brown. In most cases, the surface of the nail becomes thick and rigid. Fungi live in warm, moist environments, so people who go to public swimming pools and saunas are more prone to developing toenail fungus. People who wear synthetic socks and shoes are also at an increased risk of contracting the fungus, because synthetic footwear tends to make your feet sweat more. Scholl's Fungal Nail Treatment Kit kills the nail fungus and promotes healthy nails.
How to use Scholl's Fungal Nail Treatment Kit
Scholl's Fungal Nail Treatment Kit contains materials for treating fungal nails in two phases. During the first phase, the surface of the affected nail is filed with a nail file to remove the topmost layers. Dispose of the file immediately after use to prevent reinfection. During the second phase, the fungal nail is treated with the nail liquid. This liquid penetrates deeply into all layers of the nail, killing 99,9% of the fungi that cause onychomycosis. Scholl's Fungal Nail Treatment takes several months to work. It is important that you complete the treatment without stopping in between to prevent reoccurrence. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Close the bottle of nail liquid immediately after use.
Instructions for use
The treatment consists of two phases:
- Phase one: File the surface of the affected nail for five weeks using the nail file provided in the kit. Then wash and dry the nail. Dispose of the nail file after use.
- Second phase: Apply the nail liquid thinly to the affected nail once daily for four weeks. Allow the liquid to dry for five minutes before putting on socks.
Read the package leaflet before use.
