What is Sorefix?
Sorefix helps prevent and combat cold sores. The products are suitable for adults and children from 4 years. You can order Sorefix online at the registered EU pharmacies to which we have access.
What is the product used for?
Herpes simplex virus is contagious and can, for example, penetrate the body through damaged skin in or around the mouth. Herpes simplex can cause a cold sore, which can be recognised by the following symptoms that take place in stages:
A tingling, itching, burning or stinging sensation develops on the edge of the lip, with the surrounding skin turning red;
Fluid-filled blisters appear on the painful area;
The blisters burst open, the skin is painful, inflamed, red and swollen;
The sores dry in and crusts appear;
The scabs fall off the skin and the affected area heals.
It usually takes at least 5 days before a cold sore heals. A cold sore is contagious from the appearance of the first symptoms. If you suffer from cold sores, do not kiss other people to prevent infection. You should take steps to avoid skin-to-skin contact with babies and small children; the virus can be very dangerous for them.
The herpes simplex virus remains in the body after infection. The virus is usually dormant, but it can reappear and cause a new cold sore. Triggers that can trigger this are, for example:
A weakened immune system, for example, due to fatigue or vitamin deficiency;
A disease (such as flu, cold or fever);
Weather influences (cold, sunlight);
Hormonal influences (menstruation);
Sorefix has developed two different products that you can use to treat or prevent cold sores:
Sorefix Rescue Cold sore cream helps with the outbreak of a cold sore. The cream contains ingredients that can shorten the duration of the cold sore and reduce the symptoms. The cold sore cream softens the itching and pain and prevents the scabs from breaking open.
Sorefix Prevent Cold sore balm helps prevent cold sores. The balm optimises the condition of the lips and helps block certain triggers such as UV radiation so that the outbreak of the virus is averted.
How to apply Sorefix
You can buy Sorefix online at the registered EU drug stores to which we have access. The guidelines for use are as follows:

Read the instructions in the package leaflet before use. Sorefix products can be used for another 12 months after the package has been opened. Consult a doctor if the cold sore has not improved after two weeks.
Sorefix is usually tolerated without any problems. If you do experience any side effects, consult a doctor.
When should you not use this product?
Do not use Sorefix products if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients (see leaflet). Use in consultation with a doctor if you are pregnant.
