What is Lisinopril?

How do you use Lisinopril and what dose?
A daily dose lasts up to 24 hours. The doctor shall determine which dose is best for you. You will find this on the label of the medication packaging. It is important that you take Lisinopril at a fixed time every day. For example, in the morning with breakfast or, if you are dizzy, take it before you go to sleep. This will reduce the chance that you will forget. If you do forget to take your medication, skip it if there is more than 12 hours in between doses (if you take it once a day) and wait until it is time for the next dose. The effect of Lisinopril is noticeable after 2 to 4 weeks. It may be that you are dizzy in the first few days, this is because your body needs to get used to a lower blood pressure. In this case do not drive a car and be careful when operating machinery. You may eat and drink anything, but be careful with alcohol. Blood pressure may rise again which causes fluid retention and shortness of breath. If Lisinopril works well for you, the chances are great that you may need to use this medication for a longer period of time.
What are the possible side effects of Lisinopril
